Steve Alonge's (Broker/President) passion for real estate was first sparked at the age of 8 when his family was forced to cancel a move from their small NYC apartment to the home-of-their-dreams because of his mother's life-threatening illness. Steve vowed to have a home of his own one day and thus his passion for real estate was ignited.
Early in Steve's real estate career, he bought and sold many homes for himself and his clients. Steve began to understand clearly the role of timing and the buy-sell concept of how to move up, build wealth, and avoid making erratic emotional decisions. This led to the development of his "Equity Bank" and "Elevator Equity Concepts"; proven successful for Real Estate Investors and a major part of his seminar series.
After discovering his intuition about staying ahead of the curve and sensing the next hot boom area, Steve's mentor coach pushed him past personal insecurities and self-imposed limitations into the kind of action that made his dreams start happening. The very first result of this partnering was action on what Steve saw as a boom area and sold 150 homes in a single year in the Phoenix area.
Steve holds a master's degree with an education background. After 10 years of teaching, his passion for Real Estate won over. Steve discovered his driving force was real estate and education. His biggest thrill is seeing others people's dreams come true. He realized he could educate and Coach others on winning in the real estate game.
In this early time, no one had heard of the concept of coaching, except as it related to athletes. With his success in learning the ropes of real estate, he combined his ability to coach buyers and sellers, and other agents to do the same. The unexpected truth that has emerged in this journey has been that while buyers, sellers, agents and investors all need knowledge for engaging in this field, what they need most is to know themselves. Steve discovered that winning in the real estate game boils down to winning with oneself!
Alonge is the author of the book "Real Estate Therapy - A Spiritual and Financial Guide to Recovery" (2011). His Previous books "The Power of Realty Coaching, Choosing a Career in Real Estate Wisely" ( Dec 2005) and "Being Successful in Real Estate in Good Times & Hard Times" (1997) has demonstrated his strong knowledge of up and down real estate markets and how the business of real estate really works.
